SHERMAN, TX -- Getting in and out of the Sherman Walmart parking lot will become a lot easier Friday.
TXDOT officials are finished with the new Canyon Grove Road and it will open tomorrow. The new road will be for those leaving the Walmart parking lot on Pecan street, headed west.
Drivers will have to turn left on the new road then take the US 82 Frontage Road to access FM 131. Eastbound drivers will still be able to access Walmart using Pecan Street.
The stop signs will still remain at the intersection until the new stop lights are installed.
