New Meals on Wheels Executive Director
SHERMAN, TX-- Meals on Wheels serves 36,000 meals to senior citizens in Fannin, Grayson and Cooke Counties in one month. And now they've got a new leader at the helm.

SHERMAN, TX-- Meals on Wheels serves 36,000 meals to senior citizens in Fannin, Grayson and Cooke Counties in one month. And now they've got a new leader at the helm.
Greg Pittman has just been named executive director, but he's been involved with the program since 2006. He says he has big plans for the future of the program.
"I'd say galvanizing our volunteer base and strengthening our funding base. With the economy worsening, it's increasingly up to us to find funding to provide the meals," Pittmas said.
Next month is "March for Meals" month, and the organization will host several fundraisers throughout the month.
