News 12 honored by Vietnam Veterans
SHERMAN, TX -- News 12 was honored to be recognized by local veterans Friday afternoon.
The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 973 presented a certificate of appreciation to our own Kristen Shanahan, Nicolette Schleisman, and Morgan Downing.
Our News Director Matt Griffin also accepted an award on behalf of News 12.
The veterans say they just wanted to show their appreciation for efforts to support and promote Veterans issues in the Texoma Area.
