SPRINGER, OK - Charges will not be filed against the Carter County man who admittedly stabbed his brother to death last month.
27-year-old Jeremy Kildow was found dead Jan. 25 in a field near his home off Chad St. in Springer. Days later, Kildow's brother, 23-year-old Chance Jacobs turned himself into authorities.
Both Carter County Sheriff Ken Grace and District Attorney Craig Ladd said evidence shows Jacobs was acting in self defense.
Ladd is declining to file charges against Jacobs in Kildow's killing. Jacobs was never arrested for the stabbing.
