GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- The shigella outbreak may be slowing down.
Amanda Ortez, with the Grayson County Health Department, says in November there were 63 reported cases, 34 in December,19 in January and only 1 this month.
The last confirmed case was in Denison.
Since October there have been a total of 127 reported cases.
Symptoms include fever, diarrhea, stomach cramps and vomiting.
If you have those symptoms you are asked to stay home from work or school and to contact the health department.
