OHP Trooper injured after being hit by a drunk driver

MURRAY COUNTY, OK - An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper had to be taken to a hospital after colliding with an alleged drunk driver in Murray County.

Just after 3 p.m. Wednesday, the trooper was patrolling the Chickasaw Trail between Sulphur and Davis.

Troopers said a vehicle driven by Rosie Goff approached the patrol unit from behind.

We're told her speed was clocked at 80 miles an hour in a 45 mile an hour zone.

The vehicle Goff was driving then allegedly ran into the patrol unit.

The trooper was taken to a local hospital for injuries.

Goff was arrested at the scene and tested for alcohol. Troopers said her blood alcohol level registered at .16, twice the legal limit.
