OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Supreme Court has lifted a court injunction that prevented a forfeiture order from being enforced against the Wright City Public Schools varsity baseball team.

The state's highest court handed down the ruling Friday in a lawsuit that Wright City filed against the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association earlier this month.

The executive director of the OSSAA alleged that Wright City violated its rules by playing too many games and ordered the team to forfeit the next two games - eliminating Wright City from the 2013 Class A state tournament.

Wright City sued and obtained an injunction against enforcement of the group's order. But the Supreme Court says the school district should have first challenged the ruling with the OSSAA Board of Directors.
