ARDMORE, OK - The parents of a one-month-old girl who died Monday after traveling across the country inside a hot car have been charged with second degree murder.

Christopher and Angela Randolph are being held in the Carter County Jail on $100,000 bond each.

The couple was arrested after Ardmore Police learned they'd driven from Ohio to Carter County inside a car without air conditioning and only one window that would roll down. They believe excessive heat inside the car contributed to newborn's death.

They're both due back in court September 24th. If convicted, they face 10 years to life in prison.
