Tax break approved for Campbell's expansion in Paris

PARIS, TX - Monday night Paris Junior College's board gave the final approval to the proposed tax break for Campbell's Soup which was already approved by the city council and Lamar County Commissioners.

Campbell's plans to add a new production plant to the already existing facility bringing the companies V-Fusion juice line to Paris. This new addition to the plant will bring 50-new jobs to the area, as well as over 200 additional jobs for engineers and contractors. The 7-year tax abatement will start January of next year and run through the year 20-20.
