PARIS, TX -- A local music show is hoping to bring joy to local children in need this holiday season.
Paris Live, a radio show that showcases local artists, is teaming up with Paris Family Fun Center and Aiken Elementary to collect teddy bears that will go to the Children's Advocacy Center and Toys for Tots in Paris.
Paris Live co-host Robbie Gunn says he was influenced after the advocacy center gave his wife a teddy bear.
"Just the excitement on my wife's face after receiving that teddy bear that reminded her of her childhood was enough for me to want to kick off this campaign," said Gunn.
Aiken Elementary students decorated collection bins that will be located at Paris Baby, J&L Paving, Heart to Heart Hospice, the Paris Family Fun Center and Aiken Elementary.
The drive will go until December 14th.
