PARIS, TX-- It's been nearly eight weeks since four Paris men were shot and killed, and Police Chief Bob Hundley says investigators are working diligently to solve the crime.
Devante Akins, Romello Steward, Brijonne Woods and Billy Carey were found shot to death in a home at 435 Northeast 6th street in October.
Hundley says not only is the CID and Texas Ranger working on the case, but Federal Law Enforcement agencies have been brought in to assist.
"Any other comment from me regarding what we have investigated or have not investigated or where we are in the investigation would only lead to speculation, innuendo and quite possible the misidentification of someone who's not involved in the incident, said Police Chief Bob Hundley."
Investigators encourage anyone with information to contact Detective Leigh Foreman at (903) 737-4163 or the Lamar County Crime Stoppers at 903-785-TIPS (8411) if you wish to remain anonymous.
