Paris man accused of aggravated robbery

PARIS, Texas -- A Paris man is arrested after police say he threatened a convenience store clerk with a knife on Friday night.

Titus Wiley,41, faces a charge of aggravated robbery. Around 9 p.m. police say an argument over a pack of cigarettes at a store in the 600 block of Bonham Street, escalated and when the store clerk tried to call police, Wiley allegedly smashed a knife display, grabbed one of the weapons and pointed it at the clerk.

When officers arrived Wiley fled on foot, but was apprehended a short time later.
