Paris man assaults officers

PARIS, TX-A Paris man is now behind bars after assaulting two police officers.

Paris police said 18-year-old Deandre Fisher struggled with police during a domestic disturbance Sunday in the 200 block of NE 2nd street. Police said one officer was cut in the face and the other in the arm.

Investigators said Fisher was charged with criminal mischief, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance, a felony.
Fisher is held on bond in the Lamar County Jail.
