ARKANSAS - Heavy crude oil is flowing like a river through a central Arkansas neighborhood.
22 Homes have been evacuated after an Exxon pipeline ruptured in an Arkansas town and it could be several days before crews have the mess cleaned up. The pipeline carries more than 90,000 barrels of heavy crude oil per day from Illinois to Texas.The cause of the breach is unknown, and the EPA has categorized this breach as a major spill.
As officials try to clean up the oil Exxon is putting residents up in hotel and boarding their pets until they can safely return home.
