Pittsburg County accident kills one

PITTSBURG COUNTY, OK -- A Colgate man is dead after a rollover accident in Pittsburg County Friday night.

OHP says 81-year-old Thomas Cosper and passenger, 86-year old Ruby Hoskinson, were traveling west on State Highway 9A when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled.

The crash happened after 9:30. Troopers say Cosper was pinned in the vehicle for more than an hour.

He was taken to a hospital and was later pronounced dead. Authorities say Hoskinson was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.
