DENISON, TX - Authorities have released the name of the man who led law enforcement on a high speed chase Wednesday night and is still on the run.
Denison police say they tried to pull over Eddie Baker for a traffic violation, but he took off. Denison Police Lt. Mike Eppler says an officer was partially in the pickup when Baker sped away. The officer fell out, but was not hurt.
Eppler says Baker ditched the truck in Cartwright, Oklahoma. Denison Police and Bryan County Sheriff's Deputies searched the area on foot with a K-9 and from the air with a helicopter.
