PARIS, TX - Police have released the name of the man they say was murdered in Paris early Friday morning.
According to Chief Bob Hundley, officers found 28-year-old Roland Dekeith Williams dead around 4:30 a.m. in an area off the 1800 block of W. Austin Street. Hundley said the victim appeared to have several gunshot wounds.
"Officers have learned that three suspects wearing some type of facial covering had entered a residence which faces 19th SW in an apparent robbery attempt," Hundley said in a media release Friday morning.
No arrests have been made, and Hundley said police are still investigating. Williams' body has been sent to a medical examiner in the DFW Metroplex.
Hundley said any further information would be released Saturday morning if there is an update in the case.
