Police investigating Denison convenience store robbery

DENISON, TX -- Police are investigating a robbery at a Denison convenience store Thursday evening.

Police say just before 10 p.m., a man walked into Longhorn Convenience store on the 7200 block of FM 691, near Grayson College.

They say the man walked in with a gun, demanded money from the clerk and ran away on foot getting away with $250 dollars.

Police say the clerks were not harmed, and no shots were fired.

Lt. Mike Eppler said, "The suspect is a white man, appeared to be in his early twenties, 5-9 to 5-11, tall slender build, he had on blue jeans, a blue hoodie and a blue bandana."
