Protective order filed against family of man fatally shot

BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- The family of Parker Tyson - the man who was fatally shot - claims he was murdered.

And they say they want justice for the woman they believe was involved.

Tyson was fatally shot outside of this house March 14. OSBI said he was shot trying to break into the home where he lived with his ex-girlfriend.

His brother Clinton blames Parker's ex-girlfriend Amanda Wright for the shooting. He claims she was at home at the time.

"She has no remorse for what she did whatsoever. She's just going around like nothing's ever happened," Clinton Tyson said.

But according to a protective order filed by Wright, the Tyson's went too far.

She filed two orders on March 27 - one against Clinton and one against Parker's father, Clinton Sr.

The order says the Tyson family threatened and harassed Wright.

She quotes Clinton Jr. as telling her "I'm dedicating my life to bringing you down. I'm here and never going away."

Tyson denies threatening her.

"I don't want to hurt her. I want her to go to jail. That's where she belongs," he said.

Clinton claims he hasn't talked to Wright since three days after the shooting.

News 12 tried to contact Wright, but could not locate her for comment.

Bryan County Sheriff Ken Golden wouldn't comment on the specifics of the protective order or name the shooter.

"We feel that we know what occurred. The statements have all been collected, the evidence that is there, so at this time I don't know of any further investigation going on."

The District Attorney's office says they still haven't received the report from OSBI.
