Routine traffic stop leads to drug bust in Garvin Co.

GARVIN COUNTY, TX -- A routine traffic stop in Garvin County turns up more than 60 grams of methamphetamine and other drugs.

Norman Police pulled over LeDon Allen for speeding and changing lanes as he was driving northbound on I-35.

Allen was asked to step out of his vehicle and when he did a taped bundle fell from his car.

Police say he picked up the bag and fled northbound on foot into a field.

He was tazed and booked into Garvin County Jail on trafficking charges.

In total, two bundles were recovered; one containing 63 grams of meth and another containing 34 grams of cocaine.
