DURANT, OK --Five Southeastern Oklahoma State University students were arraigned Friday in Bryan County.
These students turned themselves in to Durant authorities Thursday night. They're each charged with four counts of assault and battery, among other charges. The five are accused of an alleged mock home invasion April Fool's Day joke.
District Attorney Emily Redman says the masked men knocked on doors and once they were opened, pushed their way into the homes. The men demanded money, cell phones and electronics.
Victims told police they were threatened with guns to their heads. The men say they were using their cell phones as pistols. They're each out on $5,000 bond.
