SHERMAN, TX -- As Sandy blasts the east coast and refineries shut down, gas prices are expected to rise in the Northeast. But Texoma may be spared the hike.

Brad Douglass with Douglass Distributing says they could jump 20 cents in areas affected by Sandy.

But, he says prices here in Texoma won't increase much because only six refineries are shutting down.

"We've got plenty of supply here. We've got inland refineries in Oklahoma, we've got pipelines coming up from the Gulf Coast. We've got plenty of supply and prices will remain moderate," Douglass said.
