SHERMAN, TX -- Sherman Police are investigating the burglary of Dorothy's Poodle Shop.

Police said someone busted the window with a crowbar late Monday night.

Owner Rusty Schultz said they stole a couple of laptops, change from the register and random items from the store.

He said the items total around $1,500.

They've resumed business as usual. But Schultz says the burglary was out of the ordinary.

"Various and insundry other little things," he said. "Some box knives, they took some box knives, a couple of pairs of pliars and things you wouldn't think would go."

Sherman Police said burglaries usually increase this time of year.

They advise the community to keep a watchful eye, and notify police of anything suspicious.
