SHERMAN, TX -- A suspect is now under arrest after shots rang out in a Sherman neighborhood Tuesday night.

It happened in the 400 block of South Maxey Street around 9:30. When officers arrived, witnesses identified Ernest Williams as the shooter. Officers found Williams in the 800 block of East Wells Street.

He was arrested for deadly conduct with a firearm, unlawful possesion of a firearm by a felon, and possession of dangerous drugs.

Police say one shot did hit a home in the 400 block of South Maxey, but no one was injured.

The incident is still under investigation.

You may recall -- Williams was also arrested for indecent exposure in September, when he got frustrated with officers who wanted to search him, he began taking off his clothes.

Police says he took off both shirts, his shorts, and boxers exposing himself to the officers and a woman nearby.

Williams was arrested for disorderly conduct and exposure.
