BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- Silo schools are gearing up for another school bond election on Tuesday.
Superintendent Dr. Bill Caruthers says the $2.3 million dollar proposal would allow Silo schools to renovate existing classrooms and build 16 additional classrooms. It would also fund an ag shop and a 4th and 5th grade center.
Caruthers says Silo schools have grown about 20 percent in the past two years and have outgrown their facilities.
Silo has held a number of similar school bond elections that have not passed.
Polls will be open for early voting Monday at the Bryan County Election Office from 8 a.m. To 6 p.m. Residents can also vote Tuesday from 7 a.m. To 7 p.m.
