CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK-- Choctaw County residents will decide whether alcohol will be served in restaurants in a special election next year.
Commissioners have placed a "Controlled Drinking" proposal on a special election ballot, set for January.
If passed, the controlled drinking law would allow restaurants to serve alcohol.
Commissioners believe this will promote job and economic growth in Choctaw County.
Currently, 54 other Oklahoma counties have controlled drinking laws.
