HOWE, TX -- A standoff in Howe Sunday ends without injury after nearly four hours.
Howe Police Chief Carl Hudman says 40-year-old Gary Christoper Marrow refused to come out of a unit at the Westwood Manor apartment complex just after 9 a.m. He says Marrow was threatening to harm himself. Hudman says he was wanted on a felony warrant out of Fannin County for "Aggravated Sexual Assault". Surrounding residents were asked to evacuate their apartment during the standoff. Police say Marrow eventually surrendered and was arrested around 1 p.m. Officers say a handgun was found inside the unit.
Hudman says he wants to thank all the agencies who assisted.
