KINGSTON, OK -- A standoff in Kingston Thursday night ended with an arrest early Friday morning.
37-year-old Brian Deaver is facing charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and carrying a firearm after a felony conviction.
Kingston officers and Marshall County deputies arrived to a home for a domestic in progress call.
Officials say a 14-year-old boy at the home had been beaten with a nightstick and his mother took him to the hospital.
Then Deaver barricaded himself in the home and the OHP swat team was called to the scene.
The standoff ended at 1:30 a.m. Friday morning when he came out of the house.
His bond has not yet been set.
