Sleet will change to snow before ending west to east late tonight/early Thursday. Wind chills of 5 to 10 degrees...with air temperatures in the low 20s...can be expected. Wind are blowing about 30 mph. Roads will be icy tonight and Thursday morning but should melt during the day as skies clear and temperatures rise above freezing.
CARTER COUNTY, OK -- All across Texoma high winds have ripped apart buildings, knocked down power lines and taken down trees.
So far we have heard no reports of injuries.
OG&E is reporting online that thousands of people without power.
More than 1500 in Ada. Hundreds in Carter County. Healdton had more than 2,000 people without electricity, but police tell us it should be back up and running. OG&E also shows hundreds of people without power in Murray County.
