A 20-30% chance for light showers this morning and maybe a non-severe pop up t-storm. Rain should wrap up by the afternoon.
PARIS, TX-- A meteorologist from the national weather service was in Paris Monday night talking to residents about the upcoming severe weather season.
Residents learned what signs to look for, how to get ready for severe weather and tips on how to stay safe during a storm. Meteorologist Mark Fox says with the storm season just around the corner residents have to be prepared for the unexpected.
"It's one thing to see a radar," said Fox. "It's another thing to put that radar information, in addition to a spotter who is looking at a storm and knows what to look for to get that warning out to everybody else and that's our job to help save lives. "
