SHERMAN, TX -- Sherman Police raced to an area gas station Friday evening after they say a woman hit her husband with a vehicle.

Police say it all happened around 6:30 Friday night at the Mobil gas station in the 1900 block of Texoma Parkway, and it was all caught on surveillance video.

The video shows a woman driving into the parking lot then plowing into a man walking towards the store. Off camera the victim told us it was his estranged wife that hit him. He landed on the hood of the car and was carried several feet before he was able to get off the vehicle.

"From what I can gather it was several feet from around the pumps to the exit of the parking lot," Officer Brandon Hughes, with Sherman Police said.

The victim says he only suffered minor scrapes and bruises. Officers say the couple involved are separated and are in the process of getting a divorce. Police say the woman got away and that they are looking for her. No word if any charges will be filed.

Sherman Police say the case will be handed over to the Criminal Investigation Division.
