SHERMAN, TEXAS -- TAPS public transit and Google Maps are teaming up.

Riders will soon be able to use Google maps to identify routes and locate park and ride locations.

TAPS CEO Brad Underwood says the alliance can boost ridership by attracting new riders who don't use public transportation.

The TAPS routes should be up on Google Maps by late spring.
