TMC welcomes renowned urologist

DENISON, TX - A world renowned urologist visited Texoma Medical Center Tuesday.

Dr. Jeffrey Cadeddu spoke to the Grayson county chapter of UsToo, worldwide prostate cancer support group. The public was also invited to attend.

He talked about the advances in prostate cancer surgery, including laproscopic and robotic urologic surgery. Some support group members said it's made a huge impact in their lives and recovery.

"Through talking with men who had been through the experience before allowed me I think to make a very good decision and it made me feel a lot better about what I was doing," said Don Riedl.

"You need to get involved and talk about it because it's there. There's not anything you're going to do about except help yourself," said Mike Barnes

The Grayson County chapter of UsToo meets the second Tuesday of each month at Texoma Medical Center.
