PARIS, TX -- TRAX officials and Paris residents met Wednesday on implementing a fixed bus route service.
The meeting allowed residents to tell TRAX the areas in the city that they think would be best served by the routes.
TRAX said they are looking to have 22-passenger buses that would run two or three fixed routes in the city.
Nearly 50-residents expressed the need of the bus service and what it would mean to the citizens of Paris.
"It's access to employment, it's access to food, it's access to healthcare and it's a giant hole in our community or gap in service that needs to be filled," said April Carl.
TRAX plans on reviewing the suggested routes and scheduling another meeting next month.
