Ardmoreites hungry for fun had a chance to get their fix downtown this evening.

The Ardmore Main Street Authority held Taste of Ardmore tonight. The annual event showcased 20 food vendors from all around the city.

Three bands also played at the event for free including the Josh Abbott band.

Ardmore Main Street is planning for about 4,000 people to attend.

The event took place from 5 to 9:30 between B and C streets.

The Main Street Authority director hopes the event will show people what downtown has to offer.

"... Get people from all over to come and see Ardmore Main Street's downtown and all the great businesses we have downtown, restaurants and merchants," said Julie Patterson, the Authority's executive director.

The Chickasaw Nation partnered with Main Street for this year's Taste of Ardmore.
