LOVE COUNTY, OK - An accident in Love County early this morning has left one teen dead and another injured, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

According to OHP, 18-year-old Taylor Chester of Ardmore was travelling west on State Highway 32 ten miles west of Marietta around 3:30 Monday morning when he drove off the roadway, overcorrected, and rolled his 2003 Nissan. His passenger, 18-year-old Dannie Gares of Burneyville, was pronounced dead at the scene. Chester was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown to a Plano hospital with unknown injuries.

Gares attended Turner High School in Love County, and Chester attended Plainview High School in Ardmore.

Troopers say Chester may have been sleepy at the time of the crash. OHP says neither was wearing a seat belt.
