SHERMAN, TX -- Texas Health Presbyterian Wilson and Jones hospital held it's annual Brake for Breakfast Friday morning.

The event raises awareness of Breast Cancer.

People were able to drive through the hospital parking lot and receive a free breakfast along with important health tips.

Mammographer Misty Nortman says women and men can be scared of getting a mammogram, but the information handed out today can help alleviate some of that fear.

Nortman said, "It's very important for women to get their mammograms, the earlier we can find the cancer, the easier it is to treat and the better their outcome is."

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
