Texas Turbine Conversions won't move into new NTRA hangar

SHERMAN, TX -- Texas Turbine Conversions will not be moving into what was expected to be their new hangar out at North Texas Regional Airport.

The Grayson County Regional Mobility Authority agreed to terminate Texas Turbines' lease on what was supposed to be their new hangar built by the county.

The company told us earlier in the week they backed out because of the construction timeline.

The county is still under contract for more than a million dollars to build the hangar.

According to Bill Retz, "We're certainly going to market it. We don't want any of our hangars to be empty. Our whole purpose is to attract businesses with jobs for people in Grayson County."

Texas Turbines is currently located in another hangar at the airport.
