Texoma Marine Corps celebrates 237th birthday

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- The Texoma Marine Corps celebrated their 237th birthday Saturday.

At the birthday party, US Congressman Ralph Hall, State Representative Larry Phillips, and high ranking marines gave speeches.

They thanked servicemen for fighting for their country and recognized several local marines.

KXII's very own Maureen Kane and Heather Sahr were there. Maureen was awarded with an honorary membership and Heather was thanked for her outstanding efforts for Toys for Tots.

12 news is proud to partner with the Marine Corps every year for Toys for Tots.
