BYNG, OK -- The Pontotoc County District Attorney's Office has determined the charges they intend to file on three students involved in Friday's Byng Schools lockdown.

According to Sheriff, John Christian, the D.A.'s office plans on filing charges of assault and battery on a school employee, and second degree burglary.

They will also be charged with knowingly concealing stolen property and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Christian says the three juveniles started a fight that involved the principal and assistant principal, then fled the campus.

He says they went to the assistant principal's home, stole bikes from the hard, and hid them.

He says they also broke into a house nearby.

"They went into a residence there in the area, and broke into that residence and stole clothing, computer items, money, games, and stuff like that," Christian said.

Christian says the three students are being detained in three different juvenile detention centers across Oklahoma, and will remain there until the determination of their court cases.
