COLLIN COUNTY, TX -- The jury trial for a north Texas father accused of making a terrorist threat at his child's school began earlier Monday.
In January of last year Ron Miller, who was unarmed, allegedly alerted school staffers at Celina Elementary school that he had gun and that he was going to test the school's security response.
Miller originally faced a third degree felony charge, but a grand jury reduced it to a misdemeanor.
The trial is expected to last two days.
