Two houses destroyed in Denison fire


DENISON, TX -- An early morning fire destroys two homes in Denison.

The fire started around 5:15 AM Tuesday morning on the 400 block of Fannin Street in Denison.

Officials say the fire started in one home before spreading to the second house.

Fire fighters say one family was evacuated and that the other home had been recently vacated.

They say no one was injured and that both homes are a total loss.

The cause of the fire is still unknown and the state fire marshals are investigating.
