Investigation continues into fatal Ladonia fire

FANNIN CO., TEXAS -- Funeral plans have been made for the Collin County Deputy and his wife who died in their home when it caught fire early Sunday morning.

Deputy Richard Fields and his wife Rebecca will be remembered at the First Baptist Church in Leonard on Friday at 2 o'clock.

The Fannin County Sheriff's Office has not released what caused the fire that destroyed their Ladonia home. The state fire marshal's office is assisting in the investigation.

Those wishing to make donations to the Fields family may do so through the Collin County Deputies Association.
