COLLINSVILLE, TEXAS -- Residents of Collinsville's Homestead nursing home are back at home after being displaced for more than 40 hours.
Residents were forced to evacuate Monday evening when an attic sprinkler system burst, flooding the nursing home.
More than 30 patients were transported to nearby nursing homes in Pilot Point and Whitesboro.
Fire Marshal Damon Stewart says damage to the building is mostly cosmetic, like fallen sheet rock and insulation.
Stewart says the facility is safe for residents.
