Outgoing Okla. Congressman takes job with Chickasaw Nation

ADA, OK - A U.S. Congressman announced Tuesday he is taking a job with the Chickasaw Nation after finishing his term in Congress.

U.S. Rep Dan Boren said he will serve as the president of Corporate Development for the Ada based tribe.

He said he will focus on expanding the tribe's business and commercial endeavors.

Boren announced last summer he wouldn't seek a fifth term in the 2nd district seat.

He said he is excited about helping the Chickasaw Nation build a stronger economic future.
