Valley View Regional Hospital seeks partnership with Mercy

ADA, OK - Mercy Health Oklahoma and Ada's Valley View Regional Hospital may be merging in the near future.

Valley View's board of directors named Mercy Health Oklahoma as their preferred partner Tuesday. The independent hospital began pursuing a health care partner last year after completing a strategic analysis.

Valley View CEO Kent Rogers said they are working on a lease agreement and when completed Mercy will take over full operational authority at Valley View in exchange for annual lease payments.

He said if all goes as planned, Mercy could take over as early as May.
