PARIS, TEXAS-- If you hear the outdoor warning sirens going off around Paris, don't worry, it's not an emergency it's just a test.
Starting Wednesday at 8 A.M a contractor will be checking each of the siren sites, doing preventative maintenance.
Each siren will be activated for a short period of time.
Police Chief, Bob Hundley, says these tests are especially important since the sirens aren't used that often.
Here's a list of all the siren testing sites:
· Lamar County Fairgrounds
· 2700 Block of Bonham Street
· Church Street and Evergreen
· 2900 Block of Jefferson Road
· 3400 Block of Lamar
· 3700 Block of 195.
