WHITEWRIGHT, TX-Despite the rain, the city of Whitewright began spraying for mosquitoes earlier Thursday evening, they'll wrap up later that night.

Noble Resources Pest Control passed through neighborhoods releasing a fog of pesticide. Pest control owner Andy McAngus said the pesticide used is a lot like those you find in grocery stores. He urges you to stay indoors as they spray, but if you get the chemicals on your skin, they will wash off.\

Cases of West Nile have been reported in Grayson, Fannin, Cooke and Collin Counties.
