OHP: Tire failure causes Choctaw County injury accident

CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK-- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a tire failure, was the cause of a Choctaw County accident that sent a woman to the hospital on Saturday.

Troopers said just after noon 71-year-old Leola Stellee was driving east on State Highway 37, when a tire blew out, causing her to run off the roadway, hit a culvert, and roll.

The crash happened about 3 miles west of Idabel.

Stellee was air lifted to a Texarkana hospital where she's listed in stable condition.
