Woman arrested in Durant stabbing

DURANT, OK-- A woman suspected to have stabbed a man this afternoon has been arrested.

Durant police arrested Amber Davis for Obstruction of Justice and Domestic Violence.

Officers say at around 12:30 they were called to a stabbing on North 3rd Street, where Davis told police that two men stabbed her boyfriend.

Investigators said they later discovered Davis had lied to police. They say there was a dispute between Davis and the man earlier in the morning.

He was taken by medical helicopter to a Dallas area hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.
